Teach with Us
Interested in working together? We’re continually on the lookout for amazing courses to add to our library of resources for RMTs.
Here’s how it works:
-
It all begins with an idea. First decide what you want students to learn. This should be a topic you feel confident teaching. Once you decide on a topic and have a general idea on the content, you will pitch the idea to OWI for approval.
-
Once your topic has been approved, you will start creating content. The majority of the content is a "talking head" video. If needed, we can add bullet points on the side or images/video clips of pertinent information. We will also add our branded intros after. It's also great to create downloadable clinical guides with key points to remember to go along with the video content. We use THINKIFIC which can accommodate all types of lessons (text, video, audio, downloadable PDF, photos etc.).
The entire course should be recorded (or at least the majority). Sometimes there can just be some text to read, especially if it's something like a link that they need to click or something that may need to be edited frequently if the info is changing on a regular basis.
We recommend recording with lots of light (natural is best) and an external mic.
-
Once the content is complete, you will send it to us in small segments. Don’t worry about making one big file as we can edit clips together if needed. You can send files using https://wetransfer.com

Pat yourself on the back! The hard work is done. Now OWI submits the course to all of the Canadian Massage Associations for continuing education credit approval. We then launch the course on our website and market it via email, social media, and association ads.
Our Contract Agreement
60-70% royalty paid to the course creator OR an offer is made by OWI to purchase the course in full.
Course creator records and edits the entire course and sends us the completed video files. OWI retains the right to edit portions of the course such as adding our logo or intro music.
Course creator provides all supplemental materials that students are required to download as part of the course, if applicable.
Course creator provides documents needed for course submission such as resume, proof of active massage association membership, and course outline, contraindications, and references.
We submit the course for approval from the various massage associations in Canada.
We host the course on our website.
We market the course and provide student support.
FAQs
-
Possibly! Please note this in the course proposal and we can work something out. We want to be clear with students and associations so we will come up with an arrangement that makes sense.
-
Right now we are only looking to partner with educators for online, on-demand style courses. If you’d like to teach in another format, you are free to do so on your own. We like to keep things simple and enjoy having content on-demand for our students.
-
Course sales vary widely based on many factors. We find our most successful courses are those with actionable results. We usually sell courses for about $30 per hour of content. Courses need to be between 1-4 hours long.
-
We do love high quality content! That being said, most phones can record great video. Please use an external mic and good lighting. You can send us a short clip prior to doing all of the recording for approval. If you plan on adding text overlay, please also send us a clip of that for approval.
-
Yes, please fill out the form separately for each course you’d like to create.
-
All of our course lessons include a discussion box where students can ask questions. Often we are able to answer these questions on our own, but if we need your assistance, we will forward questions to you. We aim to respond to students within 24 hours.
Courses We’d Love to Add
We’re always open to fresh, relevant topics—especially those that fill a gap in continuing education for RMTs. If you’re not sure what to propose, here are some areas we’re actively looking for:
